What makes you smile?

It’s nice to reflect on things that make us smile, especially when it comes to well-being. For me, it’s the little moments that matter. Like when you’re in a conversation with someone, and they share something that’s unexpected but uplifting, like a random act of kindness they witnessed or a funny situation that happened to them.

This week, I’ve been thinking about how sharing positive moments, no matter how small, can really affect mental health. It’s the stuff that reminds us to slow down and appreciate the good around us. Whether it’s someone’s laugh, the comfort of a favourite song, or a kind word from a stranger—it all ties back to feeling good and fostering well-being. Even just a moment of humour can have a surprising impact on our mood and outlook along with the sun.

How about you? Was there a moment that made you smile recently?
